Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center is a 541-bed regional referral center for neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, oncology, cardiology, obstetrics and rehabilitation medicine. Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center is the flagship hospital of Covenant Health. Fort Sanders Regional is home to the Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center, offering inpatient and outpatient therapy for brain and spinal cord injury, stroke, and orthopedic and cancer patients. The Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center, along with our Joint Commission designated Comprehensive Stroke Center, make up the region's only comprehensive stroke and rehabilitation center. The area’s cutting edge outpatient diagnostic and oncology treatment facility, Thompson Cancer Survival Center, is also located on the Fort Sanders campus.The hospital offers a variety of specialized services such as one-day surgery, electrodiagnostics, a sleep disorders center, a diabetes management center, prenatal education, and sports medicine.
