The mission of G L O B A L X P L O R E R º is to make archaeology available to all people, promote cultural preservation, and support innovation in exploration. We want to attract the best and brightest to work for this organization and promote the mission. Our goal is to demonstrate that archaeology is crucial to our existence. We will work with various cultures and groups without bias to achieve our goals. G L O B A L X P L O R E R º (founded in February 2016) received 501c3 status in October 2016. Our organization promotes cultural heritage and preservation by working with various countries and organizations to bring mutual cultural understanding and utilize technology to further preservation efforts. Additionally, our goal extends beyond protecting and preserving our shared human story but also conveys this story to those outside of the field of archaeology. These goals are accomplished through the use of our crowd-sourcing platform, development of innovative projects, and creation of field schools.
