Gurktaler AG is an Austria-based company engaged in the provision of herbal liquors. The Company principally diversifies its activities into two business areas: operational activities in the field of herbal liquors engaged by the Company's subsidiaries and investment activities. The subsidiaries providing the Company's operational activities are Gurktaler Alpenkraeuter GmbH, Rossbacher Vertriebs GmbH and Leibwaechter Kraeuter GmbH. The second business activity covers the Company's minority investments in Peter Zwack & Consorten Handels-AG (Hungary-based Zwack Group) and Underberg GmbH und Co KG. The Zwack Group engages the production of Unicum, a traditional herbal liquor and other alcohol-based products in Hungary. In Peter Zwack & Consorten Handels-AG, the Company holds a 50%-stake and an approximately 14%-stake in Underberg GmbH und Co KG.
