Violence Intervention Program

www.violenceinterventionprogram.org

For over 30 years, the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) has been a pioneer and leader in advancing the welfare of at-risk children and families. Charged with the mission of protecting and treating all victims of family violence and sexual assault, we seek to significantly better the lives of those who have been abused, neglected, or assaulted through comprehensive medical, forensic, mental health, advocacy, and supportive services that promote not only healing, but also personal growth and success. VIP envisions a community where no child, woman, or elder is hurt by someone they should have been able to trust. Today, VIP serves as the largest "Hub" for the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of child abuse cases in Los Angeles County; our programs impact over 15,000 victims of physical and sexual abuse and family violence each year.
