High Street Runway is a marketplace connecting wardrobes throughout Australia and New Zealand in an easy to use iOS App. Specifically designed for High School and Uni students, the App has a locator feature so you can find a perfect outfit close by and it even has a search by school/campus feature to make drop off and pick up quick and easy. Clothes sharing is an affordable way to be seen in something new and it’s good for the planet. The App connects people wanting to rent their clothes and those wanting to borrow in an easy to use and safe platform. The co-founders have teenage daughters who rent and borrow via social account. It has all of the features you'd need if building a stand-alone web-based platform without the cost. Like other share economy apps, its designed to help users build their own businesses. How it works: Download the app and sign up. From here you can see who is hiring what. You can refine your search by event type, location, size, designer or keyword. If you like something and would like to borrow it, check the availability calendar and contact the seller via our message tab and arrange a safe drop off and pick up location eg: school, local hangout, shopping mall or post it. The app keeps track of all the stages of the rental - the calendar blocks out the dates, using the payment portal secures the booking, then the booking is tracked every step of the way. We're building a trusted community with reviews and mediation tools. Renting and selling on social media sites is growing but is fragmented and unstructured. We're tapping into the gig economy which is growing at an outstanding rate in Australia.
