The global society of design leaders that offers virtual and in-person workshops, mentorship, and thought-leadership. What's the Product Design Leadership Alliance? We're a collective of cross-functional design leads who are passionate about sharing knowledge, learning new insights, and building a community together. PDLA is governed by a Board of industry design leads who volunteer to coordinate events, workshops, and produce thought-leadership content. How are you financially supported? We're self-funded and also receive company-backing from industry design teams to host events. Every member is a volunteer and all donations go directly to business costs and hosting events. We are not directly affiliated with any company or design organization, but we do partner with other non-profit groups for our events. How do you run and host workshops? All of our workshops have shifted to a virtual format, typically held via Zoom. As time progresses, we'll re-evaluate having hybrid workshops with in-person and virtual attendance options. Workshops typically run an hour or more, with food provided for in-person events.
