Shristi Special Academy is a Registered Charitable Society, founded in June, 1995 by three female Special Educators with an aim of "Striving for self reliance and acceptance for special people" Shristi partners with the individuals with Intellectual Disability, Cerebral palsy Autism and Multiple Disability to foster independence in them and acceptance in the community. VISION Improving the quality of life of the persons with disabilities, protecting their rights, providing equal opportunities, ensuring full participation and acceptance in the society. MISSION •Empower the persons with disabilities, to achieve their maximum potential through therapeutic interventions and special education. •Ensure the persons with disabilities, become contributory members of society through vocational training leading to employability. •Empower the families to provide life skill training to the persons with disabilities. •Create awareness in the community for total inclusion of the persons with disabilities. .
