Founder Sarah Gun has shown how business can be a force for good. In the past six years, GOGO Events has created over 750 job outcomes for 85 individuals who are on their journey out of homelessness. More importantly, Sarah shows the value of building confidence, capacity and self-belief in others so they become empowered, valued citizens. GOGO events client’s include S p a c e series, Department of Child Protection, YPO, Food SA, Australian Hotels Association, CARA and the Department of Premier and Cabinet. GOGO events is leading the way in sustainable tourism, festivals and events and is a founding member of Carbon Neutral Adelaide. Recently Sarah established the GOGO Foundation to support the work of GOGO Events in ensuring the successful transition to work for members of her at-risk team. GOGO Events has supported other social enterprises and organisations Hutt Street Centre, The Big Issue, Catherine House, Zahra Foundation, OzHarvest, Backpack for Kids and Treasure Boxes. Other clients include Aged Care Australia, WINTV Network, Premier's Council for Women, Beyond Bank and Flinders University. As Founder of GOGO Events, Sarah Gun was this year announced as one of five national finalists in the inaugural Australian SheEO program.
