INSPIRATION: We care about the earth and don't want to add more to the pollution issues with poor fabric waste management, so we create our pieces from sample fabric that big fashion brands throw away. WHO: Based in Brooklyn, New York I started making my own clothes at 14 because I could not afford to buy the newest fashions. Always thinking differently form my peers I decided to name the brand "BCD PLANET", the initials of my name. . . CORPORATE: I continued studying fashion through the years into college and graduated with a B.S. degree in Technical Design for Apparel Production from the Fashion Institute of Technology. After graduation I landed My 1st corporate industry job at Ralph Lauren. After 5 years I felt the need for more purpose behind designing. . . WHY: We are working towards working with breast cancer, autism, and dyslexia organizations because my mother is a breast cancer survivor, my younger brother has autism, and I have dyslexia.
