Columbia Shipmanagement Georgia (CSM Georgia ) is a crewing agency which was established in 2012 as a representative office for Columbia Shipmanagement in Georgia . CSM started employment of Georgian seafarers in June of 1999 when CSM took over management of Georgian fleet. After privatization of Georgian fleet in 2005, CSM continue employment of Georgian seafarers via CSM Baltija Batumi branch and OCCO located in Tbilisi from 2007. Renamed in 2009 to Georgian crewing company. In 2012, Top Management of CSM decided to merge these two companies and in November 2012 new independent company Columbia Shipmanagement ( Georgia) was established in Batumi with branch in Tbilisi Columbia Shipmanagement Georgia Ltd. is recognized by the LEPL Maritime Transport Agency (MTA) of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia with the Certificate for the "Provision of Recruitment and Placement Services in Ship Crew Manning" in accordance with Georgian Legislation.
