We’re a sixth generation, foundation owned, health services company with a single vision: to create equitable access to a more efficient, effective and easy to use health experience. And we've successfully realized that vision in lots of different ways over the years. From the very beginning, starting as a little apothecary in 1858, Dohmen has navigated changing markets and models - unafraid to change what we do, but unwilling to change who we are and what we stand for. And what we stand for is health. We’ve learned a lot about health over the last 160 years. And we’ve noticed something - despite spending double every other industrialized nation on earth, the U.S. isn’t getting any healthier. In fact, our lopsided focus on treating disease instead of preventing it has turned us into a nation of patients. It’s time to be people again. People empowered to protect their own health. It’s time to change the model. So Dohmen’s beginning a new journey. We’re entrepreneurs. We’re problem solvers. We’ve seen the problem up close and personal. And we know it doesn’t have to be this way. That’s why we’re moving out of health care and back into health. With a new model that flips health spending from treatment to prevention.
