Fairway III is a privately-owned independent oil and gas company based in Southlake, Texas, that was formed in June 2016 when we closed on a large commitment from Denham Capital, an energy-focused global private equity fund. Fairway III is pursuing an “acquire and exploit strategy” focused on assets in Oklahoma and Texas. We made our first acquisition in November 2016 when we closed on the purchase of Samson Resources’ properties in the central portion of the Anadarko Basin.
