We are basically throwers of scag. Wells Vissar Inc. is the vision of Kathleen Vissar and Amy Wells both 1980 graduates of Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, each having experience in the fabrication and restoration of Marrezzo Scagliola. When Wells Vissar Inc. was established in 1993 the use of scagliola had vanished as an architectural option. They found themselves to be educators within the design community of scagliola and its uses. To date, Wells Vissar Inc has completed over three thousand jobs. Wells Vissar Inc’s 300 plus scagliola products and custom services are currently available in over 40 showrooms nation wide. Wells Vissar Inc has been showcased in numerous design show houses and in design publications. Wells Vissar has also been invited to consult and bid on various scagliola restoration projects with-in the United States.
