ADHAR is a Voluntary Organisation, registered under Society Registration Act, Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act and Indian Income Tax Act under section 12A & 80G. In recent Strategic Planning process, Adhar visualise some changes for coming years. Adhar also strongly relies on the two foundation strategies of Social accountability and social inclusion to empower children, their families, their communities and thereby the larger society to evoke the existing government machinery to function effectively and provide for the necessary support to reach the goal and inclusive society. Adhar intends to base their work around children as the core target group since this the population is closely tied to other target groups within a community and also connects with multiple issues of livelihood, food security, poverty, inclusive education etc. for e.g. for a child to grow up into a physically and mentally healthy individual, a secure environment is required at home, at school and within the larger community. In order to make this a reality, Mission: Facilitating and augmenting child centric community development through partnership with other, CBO, NGOs, Alliance in order to empower disadvantages children, their families and community for social justice and equity.
