Located in Sweden's oldest university town and with 250 students, Johannelund offers Sweden's only Lutheran theological education that provides ministry candidates the full programme of training required for ordination in Lutheran churches. Johannelund is unique in Sweden for integrating academic theology with practical application in ministry from the first term of study. With roots in the Swedish Evangelical Mission (SEM), Johannelund prepares candidates for ordination primarily in SEM and the Church of Sweden.
