Building Designers Association of Australia is a nationally recognised association with members in every state and territory in Australia. Over the years, we have grown into a structured organization that offers multiple streams of CPD and communications to its members. Building Designers Association of Australia believes in fostering interaction and support among the members. This includes providing exclusive mentorships, annual conferences, and industry exposure as part of our ongoing professional development program. As a proactive leader on a range of issues affecting the environment, we are also the only Building Designers national body that represents its members in Industry Policy, State and Federal Planning. We are active in the development of Standards, By Laws, Legislation and Documentation relevant to the Building Design profession. This includes being represented on the following industry and government bodies: - Standards Australia - The Australian Building Codes Board - The Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council - The Australian Design Alliance Our mission is to promote and enhance the profession of Building Design. We want to provide consumer awareness on the capabilities of a Building Designer and their contribution to the building industry and the community as a whole. Building Designers Association of Australia is a strong advocate in ethical conduct and sound business practice in the Building Design profession. As such, the Building Designers Association of Australia community consists of like-minded individuals. Members Building Designers Association of Australia consists of dedicated professionals who design and document building projects across Australia. We have members who are national and international design award winners, authors, magazine columnists, sustainability authorities and experts, design software developers, lecturers and presenters.
