RGM started its activity in 1986 with the design and production of power supplies. Today the core business is represented by the Power Electronics Business Unit which is structured to provide in-house design, production and service of: •Power Conversion Systems: Power controller and converter systems, electric and hybrid vehicle propulsion systems and energy storage systems •AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC Power Supplies • Magnetic components, HF coils and filters, HF Inductors, and pulse transformers •Electronic boards in SMT and PTH technology and Hybrid Modules According to the specific needs of its clients, to control and manage the entire supply value chain of its products, RGM has founded another major facility in Lerma (AL), the Metalworks Business Unit, certified for welding process and dedicated to: • Metalworks design & manufacturing • High level electro-mechanical assemblies Confirming its technical leadership in Electronics High Reliability components, In 2012 RGM opened a new plant in Rome, RGM Space Business Unit, dedicated to Space market, with its own modern testing laboratory, ranging from EEE Procurement parts to testing of Hi-Rel components, from preparation of Custom specification to preparation of test plan.
