Smithers of Stamford
www.smithersofstamford.comSmithers Born out of my sheer frustration at not being able to source cool designs on the high street and a strong love for urban styles that verges on the outrageous. Combined with a rebellious ambition to break from the norm, have been a fundamental part of Smithers genetics since I was at school in the 1980s. SMITHERS WALK OF FAME Client Projects Smithers have worked on merchandising projects with The Marriott International * The Bodyshop * Fred Perry * Band Of Burgers Plus an A-List Clientele as long as King Kong's Arm. TV SHOWS They say every man has his five minutes of fame and that certainly came in the form of BBC1’s Money for Nothing with presenter Sarah Moore. Smithers of Stamford played a big role in the first two seasons of this popular upcycling TV series, and it was a great experience offered to us. We got to work with some fantastic designers and showcased a range of their reclaimed products on the website, which always proved popular. We also have been involved with channel 4 with a show called Big House Little House With presenter Aidan Keane. Home Interior Magazines Alongside our television work, we’ve been fortunate enough to feature in a broad selection of home magazines and national newspapers including The Sunday Times, Reclaim, Men’s Fitness and Marie Claire, Period Ideas and Time Out, to name but a few. The memories of working hard to achieve editorial with a journalist are never far away, so we’re always slightly humbled when we are approached for a story.
