Ireland China Science and Technology Association (ICSATA) was registered in Ireland in 2017, it is a not-for-profit international organisation. Since established, ICSATA has been receiving strong support and endorsement from the Irish Embassy to China, the Chinese Embassy to Ireland, and all the relevant departments from both the Irish and Chinese governments. Based on the principal of innovation and win-win, the aim of ICSATA is to build an international platform for science and technology exchanges so as to promote the overall collaboration between Ireland/EU and China particularly in the area of technology, trade, culture and education, and also to assist both the Irish/EU and Chinese governments to promote the bilateral relationship at all levels. ICSATA support enterprise and institute for their international training, exhibition, academic exchange, technology transfer, business visit & match-making events, and also assist their market entry, investment, trade and other business activities between Ireland/EU and China. ICSATA was appointed as the Official Organisors of China International Import Expo (CIIE) to Ireland by CIIE Bureau, China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) to Ireland by China Foreign Trade Centre, and China International Fair For Trade In Services (Beijing Fair) to Ireland by its Beijing Leader Group in 2018, 2019, and 2020 respectively. ICSATA also formed a strategic partnership with Dublin Tech Summit (DTS) for China and became a Supporting Organisation of Hong Kong Fintech Week (HKFTW) in 2020. ICSATA is the co-host of Beyond IoT Conference in 2021.
