KAOS Architects, based in Tallinn, Estonia, was established in 2010 and divided in 2022 into two companies - Lumia and StudioARGUS. KAOS, lead by interior architect Margit Argus and architect Margit Aule, created modern experimental architecture for more than a decade, often in dialogue with heritage. The integrative approach has been recognised by awards for Haapsalu Castle, Park Hotel Viljandi, Estonian Embassy in Moscow, Pilgrims’ House in Vastseliina, Noblessner Foundry in Tallinn, Estonian Embassy in London, Treasury of the University of Tartu Museum and Energy Discovery Centre in Tallinn.
