The Project Management Institute (PMI): PMI is one of the world’s largest not-for-profit membership associations for the project management profession. Our professional resources and research empower more than 528,000 members, credential holders and volunteers in nearly every country in the world to enhance their careers, improve their organizations’ success and further mature the profession. PMI Sioux Empire Chapter: A team of project management professionals in the Sioux Empire area had a vision and drive to establish our PMI Sioux Empire Chapter. This team of individuals worked diligently with our PMI organization to obtain our chapter's official charter which was granted to us November 1, 2004. In 2004, our PMI Sioux Empire Chapter started with 49 members and has been steadily growing since that time. Most recently our chapter has reached 260 active members! Our Mission: The mission of the PMI Sioux Empire Chapter is to promote project management methodologies, enhance knowledge and skills, and add value to it's membership, business, and the community.
