Dr George Ath. Kounis is 44 years old and was born in Heraklion Crete of Greece. He owns a bachelor degree in Physics with minor in Atomic, Molecular Physics and Lasers (1997) from the physics department of the University of Crete. He acquired his PhD (2008) degree in Health Sciences at the Medical School of University of Crete and worked as a researcher in the University of Crete from 1998 to 2010 with a rich research background with 50 peer-review publications and over 30 presentations in congresses in Opthalmology. He collaborated with CV Laser Pty LTD (Australia) as Senior Engineer, Global Service Manager, European Representative and Medical Consultant from 2005 to 2011. In Dec of 2011, he created G&N Electronic and Medical Solutions in Greece. GNEMS is a rapidly evolving company designed to support the most recent trends that connect Electronic Security Systems and IP solutions toward IoT integrations. His background is optoelectronics, High Power Laser, Non-Linear optics, computer science, programming, wireless/wired IP networks and biostatistics. He is the owner of one patent as well as the owner of many certifications in CCTV and Networks (MicrotikTCNA , Hikvision CSA, Texecom Certified Consultant, Draytek Certified Net Admin, Mobotix Certified Consultant, SpotterRF Journeyman, Intel Gold Technology Provider, Dell Technology provider, CambiumNetworks Certified Partner, Ultinous Consultant). As IP CCTV advances with Advanced Behavioral Analytics, Thermal Cameras, Bi-Optics System, VMS, Alarms systems with advanced IP communication systems, Radar Detection technologies for anti-Drone security GNEMS applies integrated systems in vertical markets like Fish-farms, Hospitality, ANPR and industrial applications. GNEMS finally is Distributor of the well known and most complete CCTV designing Software by JVSG and was Prime Partner of ARH for Greece form 2019 to 2021.
