Rotterdam Commodity Trading B.V. was formerly known as Amberwood Trading (Rotterdam) B.V. and established in 2000. We specialize in the brokerage/distribution of edible nuts like peanuts, cashews and Brazil nuts. Our many years of experience in these markets allows us to provide up to date pricing information about each of these markets and gives us the chance to offer tailor-made assistance in both the marketing/sourcing of your raw edible nuts. Being situated in one of the world’s busiest ports, we are able to offer all our clients, origin suppliers as well as buyers, assistance on a wide range of logistical issues. The Rotterdam office also handles the peanut brokerage side of the business with 2 traders each with at least 25 years of experience in the market. Our colleagues in our office in Vietnam, handle, among other commodities, the sourcing of good quality cashews. Other commodities they are active in are various spices, mainly pepper, and dairy products. To make absolutely sure that our customers receive good quality cashews, our colleagues will be present at the time of loading of the goods. During that time, they take samples at random to run several tests, such as count, moisture and grading (visually). They also do a roast test to make sure the finished product shows an even color.
