Ira Middleswarth & Son, Inc. was founded in 1942 by Bob Middleswarth. He started making potato chips with a single kettle, in a two-room building off to the side of his family’s home in Bea­vertown, Pennsylvania. Today Ira Middleswarth & Son is a third generation family owned and operated business located in Middleburg, Pennsylvania producing Middleswarth Potato Chips with the same "Kitchen Fresh" quality for over 80 years.
