Cargo Movement was established in 1998. We offer a nationwide distribution service to all areas within South Africa. Our services include break-bulk, long haul, supply chain management and other ancillary services. Our focus is on timed deliveries, maintaining high security levels, constant collection and delivery follow up and getting completed documentation back to our clients within a shorter period of time. For the past 8 years, we have been the in-house logistics company, at one of the top 3 largest corporate clothing manufacturers in South Africa, based in Pinetown. We distribute for them nationwide to the entire Spar Group, ABSA, FNB and Standard Banks. Our Durban depot is also centrally located in Durban, and in Johannesburg, we are located in Bramley. Although we offer all the same services as the large companies, like UTI and DHL (the latest scanning, labelling, tracking and integrated IT and in-house systems) you don’t deal with call centres. No communicating with a maze of individuals and reference numbers to get your problem solved. You or your staff, deal with two individuals (based at Westmead), that deal with any collection, delivery or documentation problems you may have. Our experience with transporting high value items also means we have managed to keep our thefts to an absolute minimum.
