Oak Wise is a leading producer of quality oak adjuncts for oenological applications since 1987 with production facilities in the United States and France. Oak Wise sources oak directly from managed forests in France and the eastern United States then carefully ages it at company owned facilities in the country of origin. Having resource control and our own production facilities allows us to innovate and produce consistent high-quality oak products for beverage makers with full traceability guaranteed from raw material to finished products delivered. As well as producing a wide range of oak alternates we produce 100% natural aqueous tannins that give winemakers, brewers, and distillers complete control over all the important organoleptic and structural elements that oak brings to beverages.
