ESSA is the international association of the physical security industry. Since more than 50 years ESSA is the global inter-sectoral network. The association combines all groups of the security industry – distributors, manufacturers, users, insurers and authorities. This structure allows members to get insight from all sectors of the industry. Aims of ESSA is to promote standardization work and to remove trade barriers. We work on creating the newest burglary and fire resistance standards and are a liaison partner of CEN. In addition, ESSA starts projects for instance to compare different testing institutes neutrally. Furthermore, the ESSA stands for know-how and expert knowledge.
