Clifton Public Library's two branches proudly serve a dynamic and diverse community. Clifton is a City of approximately 85,927 according to 2014 estimates from the U.S. Dept. of Census. Slightly over 55% of the population speaks a language other than English at home. There are well over 80 languages spoken by students in the Clifton Public Schools. Our vision is to aspire to be a welcoming resource for the community’s rich and diverse population throughout their lives. Our mission is to enrich lives through discovery, learning, entertainment, and accomplishment of tasks essential to everyday living.
