The primary question of any marketing department should be “How do we bring value to our clients?” No matter the acquisition, retention or customer satisfaction metrics you may chase to measure result, it is by focusing on this question in your team’s daily activities that you will achieve the best results possible. As a marketing automation specialist, the answer to this question forms the foundation of the technological solutions that I build and consult on. Marketing automation is primarily a tool of a very particular marketing and sales strategy: inbound marketing. My goal is to make organisations who take the step into marketing automation aware of the relationship between the tool and the strategy. Following up, I will help them perfect their marketing strategy and technology stack to achieve results to be proud of. My passions lie in marketing strategy on one side, and marketing technology on the other. In a sense, I see myself as a hybrid marketeer. On the other, I am well versed in implementing marketing automation platforms, integrating with CRM systems and constructing marketing databases.
