The Feminist Society of UNM aims to provide a safe platform for purposeful discussions pertaining to gender roles, intercultural experiences of inequalities brought about by gender, and identity issues. We at FemSoc believe that everybody needs to be part of this conversation so that we truly understand the issues of inequality, and how each of us can inspire change. Though the name might suggest that it’s a female-oriented club, everybody is welcome to contribute towards our understanding of what feminism means in the modern century, and how it is relevant to the issues of today.
