Breckenridge Geophysical is a seismic data acquisition company founded in 1984, 100 miles west of Fort Worth. We started off in the 1980s and early 90s as a small team, with crews working primarily in North Texas. From our humble beginnings as a small mom & pop shop, we’ve expanded our operations and grown significantly to boast a management team with over 175 years combined experience in worldwide geophysical exploration and a highly diverse client base . We consistently innovate our practices, implementing the state-of-the-art technology necessary to keep up with an ever-changing industry. Thanks in large part to our 2011 acquisition by the Wilks Brothers Corporation, we’ve been able to expand our operations across the contiguous United States. Breckenridge Geophysical has built long standing relationships with numerous subcontractors to provide surveying, drilling, permitting and environmental services as needed. Breckenridge Geophysical utilizes the OYO-Geospace GSX Nodal recording system with single channel and three component capabilities, OYO GS 32 CT Geophones as well as the GSOne three component geophone. Our crews are equipped with a fleet of 18 Inova AHV-IV Commander Vibrators outfitted with Seismic Source Force III electronics and submeter accuracy GPS.
