The mission of the CFA Society Jamaica is to serve the needs of all professionals involved in the investment decision-making process and to assist and educate the investing public. The fundamental objectives of the Society are: (a) To create a sense of community among investment professionals. (b) To serve as a local development resource for its members as well as persons interested in and/or pursuing any CFA Institute Program. (c) To encourage the development of Jamaican investment professionals through the CFA Program and increase awareness of the CFA Institute brand. (d) To promote ethical and professional standards within the investment industry through the embodiment of the CFA Institute principles of ethics, education and professional excellence. (e) To be a key source of investment knowledge by facilitating the open exchange of information and opinions. (f) To protect and enhance the interests of Jamaican investors.
