Save Our Skin has been established to educate kids (and parents) about how to protect and prevent UV damage, and how to stay safe in the sun. We are providing authentic, certified UPF50 clothing, hats and sunscreen products. We have affiliation with leading dermatologists who are behind us and we have the backing and support from CANSA too. We are focussing on schools at this stage, as most sun damage is caused before the age of 18, and due to the fact that we have a captive audience in these environments. We are already looking at the changes to the school curriculum in 2012 to include Sun Protection as part of the new Life Skills syllabus.
