The Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments has two goals. One, the continued professional development of clinical reasoning examination and treatment skills and two, to advance physical therapy as a high quality healthcare alternative for people suffering pain. To do this we offer a manual therapy certification track as well as individual specialty treatment course. The treatments we teach are proven, practical and hands on. The primary focus is on the clinical examination process so that through improved diagnosis, you can make better use of the various skills you have developed through study, experience and excellence in practice. As the number of self-referrals rise and the means for direct access increase, there has never been more opportunity to capitalise on your individual skills and at same time advance the quality and reputation of our profession as a real alternative to more expensive and high-risk treatments.
