High school textbooks are often overpriced and hardly used. Textbooks make learning one-sided and leave confused students left behind. Fyscal intends on replacing textbook-based learning with an interactive website that gives both the teacher and the students the ability to customize the learning process, for a much lower price than an average textbook. We are combining conventional methods with technology to make learning more practical oriented. Students can follow along with an industry expert as they go through the process of learning skills an average course wouldn't teach, like how to comprehend a lease agreement or fill out a W2. Not only is the learning process interactive, but also teachers can assign in-depth-give-and-take exams and quizzes. These tests are automatically graded with an option for teacher review. Fyscal easily interacts with common educational technology websites like Canvas. We currently have several unique internship positions available upon request. Fyscal provides a distinct and exclusive opportunity for students to build something from the ground up, and manage their own schedule and work plan. The unpaid, due to a current lack of funding, positions include Content Creator, Graphic/Website Designer, and Social Media Manager. Fyscal is still on the ground, however, with proper support, we could grow exponentially. As of right now, we just need investors to fund the project. The course plan will initially only cover financial responsibility but we hope to expand to other topics.
