Equipe Sans Frontières Paris is a football association for migrants and refugees. Inspired by football's humble origins as a working-class sport, our association emerged out of a pursuit to support and motivate the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in January 2018, we’re a football club driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of love, solidarity, friendship, and support. The terms "migrant" and "refugee" are political words that have too often been used to denude the humanity of another group of people. Through our common language of football, we seek to humanize and personalize a political issue that has, so far, been very divisive. We want ESF Paris to help erase this idea of being born on the "wrong side of the border". We want to help people engage and communicate on common ground.
