Khimar Toastmasters is a Toastmasters Club that was created to transform the narrative of being a Muslimah leader and communicator. Khimar is a global virtual club run by women for women. We meet monthly, on the last Thursday of each month, via Zoom. Currently, we have members from across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa and the UK. We welcome Muslim women across the world to attend our club meetings as guests to get a taste of what Khimar is all about. We encourage Muslim women to join the club as members. Khimar Toastmasters Club gets together online on the last Thursday of every month at 8.00 pm AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time). We are an official club of Toastmasters International in District 70, Bradfield Division, Area 43. Our club was charted in October 2021. About Toastmasters International "Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs." The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a supportive space and a positive learning experience to assist members to develop communication and leadership skills, and to further greater self-confidence and personal growth.
