HERMANN JOHA action concept is headed by founder and CEO Hermann Joha. Joha began his media career at an early age doing stunt work for established film production companies. In 1982, he founded the media production company “Driving Unit” in Dusseldorf, Germany. The company not only performed stunt work, but was also part of state-run television crime productions, as a second unit with action loaded staging. In 1996, Joha directed the made-for-TV-movie The Clown. Even today, this movie remains one of the most successful in-house movies that RTL television has ever broadcast. In 2012 Joha received the Deutscher Fernsehpreis (German Television Award) for “Special Achievements in Fiction”.
