And as a filmmaker, I create brand stories that inspire and touch peoples hearts and minds. Here is a story about how I helped a nonprofit better tell its story and connect with donors, community leaders etc. Lamb’s Farm is a place that serves people with developmental disabilities. The residents live and work at the petting zoo, restaurant and pet shop. After talking with visitors, donors, employees etc it was clear that people did not really get that Lambs Farm was a service organization. They thought it was just a place for their kids to pet a goat– they literally thought it was a farm. We wanted to create a brand message that not only said what they did but one that would inspire donors, employees and all people that came to visit. The brand idea developed was “Lambs Farm. Where People Grow” and it set the stage to tell many stories about the wonderful things that happen at Lambs Farm. The stories helped them raise the money needed to pursue their mission. We have many success stories to tell and have helped brands big and small from Nonni’s Biscotti, Healthy Choice, Imerman Angels, Eukanuba dog food, The University of Chicago STEP reading program build their brand through stories.
