In addition, Archetypal greatly utilizes reclaimed wood, one of the most sustainable materials in the field. Rather than using heavy-duty machinery, Archetypal relies on the teamwork of talented craftsmen, which greatly reduces its carbon emissions, a prevelant problem in the industry. Our products are available in wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council as sustainably/responsibly sourced. Archetypal was founded in 1992 by Avedis Duvenjian, a NWFA-certified Master Craftsman.
