Richard Rodgers is the President and founder of RGR Consulting Services Inc. A seasoned industry professional with over 35 years of operational and management experience. Extensive technical & operational experience gained by serving at sea and working in shore side management. For the last 8 years he has worked as an independent consultant as a lead auditor, conducting internal audits to the International Safety Management Code (ISM), ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 500001, Occupation Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001, International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS)Code/Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) and the requirements of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). He received a commission in the U.S. Navy and Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology and Oceanography with a minor in Marine Transportation from the State University of New York Maritime College at Fort Schuyler, fifteen years of sea time and holds an unlimited Master license.
