Alley Oop Hoops, Inc. is a mentoring program founded in June 2020 connecting youth to community advocates through our shared love of the game of basketball. Our mentors help student athletes reach their full potential on and off the court, with programs focused on leadership development, STEM education, entrepreneurship, career readiness, community engagement, and wellness, both physical and mental. AREAS OF IMPACT - Success in education and career, through the focus in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), financial literacy and entrepreneurship stewardship. - Build community leaders, through awareness, enabling difficult conversations, and action, through the focus on community issues, relationship awareness, and leadership programs. - Promote a healthy lifestyle, both directly and indirectly correlated to the game of basketball, through physical, emotional, nutritional, and intellectual learning.
