The French International School of Bombay (EFIB) was founded in 1983. It is a bilingual French / English school and a private institution under the Indian governing laws and established as a non-profit organization (Charity Trust). The School is overseen by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE), a part of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which includes more than 450 schools in 130 countries. EFIB is located in Worli and offers international education to both children and adolescents, from 2 to 18 years of age, providing Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary education.The EFIB follows the French National Education Program and has made Bilingualism (French/English) an offering at the heart of its future growth & development. L'Ecole Française Internationale de Bombay est un établissement privé de droit indien appartenant au vaste réseau de l'Agence pour l'Enseignement du Français à l'Etranger (AEFE). Elle scolarise les élèves de 2 à 18 ans, en pré-élémentaire (maternelle), en élémentaire (primaire), au collège et au lycée. Le secondaire fonctionne avec le Centre National d'Enseignement à Distance (CNED). Collégiens et lycéens suivent leurs cours en classe à plein temps, avec des professeurs compétents et expérimentés.
