WorkSource Seattle-King County is a proud partner of the nationwide system of American Job Centers system coordinated by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (ETA) and provides a full range of assistance to job seekers and businesses under one roof. Established under the Workforce Investment Act, and reauthorized in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act (WIOA) of 2014 with nearly 2,400 American Job Centers (AJCs) located across the U.S. offering job seeker and business related services including: Business: • Recruitment resources (Online & Community Connections) • Hiring events (Promotion & Assistance) • Worker retention (Retraining & Layoff Aversion) • Workforce reductions (WARN Support & Layoffs) • Labor market data & tax incentives Job Seekers: • Finding job openings • Learn strategies for finding a job • Get job referrals and job search assistance • Get help preparing your résumé and getting ready for job interviews • Post your résumé online for employers to see • Assess your skills and get career guidance • Get referred to a training program • Learn how much jobs pay and what jobs are in demand WorkSource is a partnership of multiple organizations from Government, Education and Community-Based Organizations dedicated to addressing Seattle-King County's workforce needs.
