CUFS was established in 1993 and is currently owned by four Georgia Credit Unions. The Credit Unions created CUFS to provide mortgages for members seeking affordable lending solutions and trustworthy, expert advice. They wanted a mortgage company that had their members best interest in mind. CUFS was created to help Credit Union members meet their personal Real Estate goals while looking out for their financial security. To this day, CUFS serves the same purpose.
