Elemental Action is a 501(c)3 non-profit public charity with a mission to build focused, sustainable, grassroots solutions that nourish society through civic, technological, educational, environmental, and health initiatives. Vote on Sunday is the organization's first civic-focused initiative with a mission make election day more accessible to eligible US Citizens by universally expanding early voting access to include Sunday, the most accessible day of the week. More than 60 other countries around the world already vote on Sunday. Increased voter turnout percentages will improve local, state, and federal government representation. We plan to launch in 2019 to begin the process to help increase turnout and revitalize American democracy. We are also beginning efforts to focus on more charitable work within the local community in the Berkshires. Elemental Action is happy to be supporting the Pittsfield BagShare. We will be donating our time to create bags for the share from donated sources. 8% of petroleum use goes towards making plastic bags and it takes 500 years for one plastic bag to break down. It will never fully biodegrade. It’s time to make small changes for a better future!
