Holymoor Consultancy Ltd. is an independent geoenvironmental consultancy service. We offer consultancy services in: - Hydrogeology: - Groundwater resources and water wells. - Geochemistry: - Regional hydrochemistry and geochemistry. - Contaminated land and water. - Thermogeology: - Software-assisted design of open- and closed-loop ground heat exchange - Evaluation of thermal response tests Holymoor also offers professional training in - Ground source heating and cooling. - Groundwater chemistry. - Water well design and construction - Hard-rock hydrogeology Holymoor provides scientranslation services from Norwegian, Swedish and Danish to English. Holymoor Consultancy Ltd. is run by David Banks, an internationally experienced Chartered Geologist. He has worked extensively in the U.K. and in the Nordic, African, South American and former Soviet areas. He speaks Norwegian and a little Russian and Spanish. David has a background in all of the major sectors of the water and environmental profession (water industry, National Rivers Authority, private consultancy, humanitarian aid, academia and geological survey). This gives him the ability to see problems from an "all round" perspective and understand the concerns of various actors in environmental issues. David has experience in disposal of low- and intermediate-level radioactive waste, monitoring of unconventional hydrocarbon operations and mine water geothermal schemes. Holymoor Consultancy Ltd. was registered as a limited company in England & Wales on 12th November 2008. Prior to this, Holymoor Consultancy had been run by David Banks as a sole-trading consultancy since August 1998.
