Step by step this leads us to answers to some of the most important questions in science: how did life originate? And: are we alone? The Origins Center is the national knowledge center that brings together research by universities and knowledge institutes. We share the progress scientists make with anyone curious about the history and future of life and evolution. Leading information about life on Earth and potentially beyond We connect astronomers, Earth scientists, biologists, ecologists, chemists, physicists, computer scientists, and mathematicians. We inspire collaborations and research projects and facilitate new interdisciplinary methods of fundamental research. We highlight new knowledge from all sides.
