Established in April 2015 The Hill Club was named after the late Eric Hill, the founder of BICSc and the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners. The exclusive networking organisation was created by a group of industry professionals with the aim of providing a comfortable environment for business people within the cleaning industry to connect, network and establish mutually beneficial commercial relationships. The club features cleaning contractors, specialist insurers, industry PR specialists, FM recruiters, janitorial suppliers, washroom service providers and industry cleaning specialists, alongside FM organisations and service procurers. All professionals working in the cleaning industry are welcome to attend the quarterly events which are free of charge and often include complementary snacks on a first come, first serve basis. Each meeting is held in an informal setting and runs for around three hours. In addition, we hold 2 regular feature events. The first, our Charity Golf Open takes place in May/June and raises funds for our supported charities of that year. The second, our highly acclaimed Summer Thames Cruise, features our coveted Cleaning Industry Awards, focused on recognising and rewarding the superstars within our great UK Cleaning Industry! Since inception we have held over 40 networking events, 6 Charity Golf Opens and 7 Summer Thames Cruises, hosting in excess of 7,000 guests (correct at 2022) making the Hill Club the UK's largest cleaning-specific networking organisation.
