The Institute for Safety Compensation and Recovery Research (ISCRR) was established as a partnership between Monash University (Monash), WorkSafe Victoria (WorkSafe) and the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) in 2009. Since 2009, this research activity has involved more than 200 research projects. ISCRR has the capacity to implement a significant proportion of this research, but also acts as an intermediary between the broader academic community and the TAC and WorkSafe Victoria through procurement, conduct and translation of projects. As part of Monash University, ISCRR has access to world-leading expertise to support the research agenda. In 2018, the partnership was renewed between Monash and WorkSafe.
